I bought this for my 5 year old nephew for christmas, and as soon as he opened it, he played with it all day. An adult needs to do the trick first (for such a young child) but once it was explained to him, he was able to do the trick very well. He got such a kick out of being able to show us his magic tricks. Very durable pieces and comes with a nice box that fits everything nicely. Highly recommend.

My 6 year old son received this magic set this past christmas and hasn't been able to stop doing shows for the family since. He needed a little coaching to get into it completely.. but caught on very quickly. The toy is very durable, easy to master and shows off a few slick tricks.. every child that he performs for is mesmerized and wants to learn as well.

Perfect starter magic set for my son, who just turned six. My daughters also like playing with it too. Tricks are easy to learn and perform. Wooden storage box will last a long time.
